| Engine | Extraordinary power with impressive fuel economy. Three and four cylinder Turbo Intercooler engines with a unitary capacity of 1,000 cc. Engines offering exactly the right amount of power for the job: the 1 litre size is the best compromise today between smaller, sub-litre configurations, which are very compact but underpowered, and conventional larger engines with capacities above 1,000 cc. 82 hp/60 kW, 85 hp/63 kW, 90 hp/66 kW, 96 hp/71 kW and 106 hp/78 kW engine variants are equipped with an intercooler, which cools the air compressed by the turbocharger, increasing the mass of air delivered to the cylinders and improving combustion. This considerably increases power and reduces fuel consumption, while maintaining lower engine operating temperatures. |
